In a surprising collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
